Gaming on Belinea 22"

Hi guys and gals,

Just bought one of these screens to replace my 2yr old 19" CRT and whilst I'm hugely impressed with the overall clarity and size of the screen, there seems to be quite a bit of ghosting when playing PES6 at native resolution. HL2 and Riddick seem to be free of ghosting, but PES6 really seems to suffer. Is this due to the type of game (ie small ball pinging around a big screen) or is there something I am missing?

Like I said before though, still mightily impressed with the screen and wouldn't change back for anything!

Awesome screens for the price. I'm awaiting my second one any day now
I've not played PES on mine tho, but certainly not seen any ghosting so far on F.E.A.R., BF2, CS:S, WoW, HL2 or Wolfenstein. Why don't you check out http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/ for some more info on playing games at certain resolutions?

how can u tell if your monitor is having ghosting,whats happening with picture ? sorry i am a noob with monitors, and i was about to order this belinea 22"!
Do i need to order saperate cable for it,couse i got quite old VGA card Ati X850XT PE ,or i will be fine?

it comes with cables.

i got a 22inch belinea i went from a 17inch HD lcd screen. and even tho i went from digital screen to a analog i have to say its a good screen.

i love it dont get me wrong but i miss the clearness of the 17inch monitor i used to have. this monitor seems some how well, when the screens dark you can kind of see like square pixels like a playstation game.

there was none of that on my old 17 inch. allso it doesnt look as good and 3d as the 17inch CRT that i used for 1 month when my 17inch lcd broke down.

the 17inch crt was just outstanding it made textures like a cobble texture on a flat surface look like the cobbles was actually 3d some how. not sure how i love crt's awsome clearness but there bad for eyes

if i was given a choice.

if i had un-damageable eyes.

i would get the biggest CRT screen i could find.

but in real life id have to go for the 22inch cause eyes do get damaged more from crt's.

i wish wish wish, the 22inch was a bit more WOW factor. its just like any other monitor just bigger

Ghosting in PES is actually a common occurance on just about all monitors and that can include LCD TV's,I wouldnt stress about it really!

Other games I bet will be fine

It really does only seem to be PES, and I can definitely live with the small amount of ghosting in that when everything else looks cracking!

nice,thank you for replays ,i ordered it already and cant wait when i will get it , i got one old 17" CRT monitor(Relisys) over here atm haha, served well for hes master three years
