How would this work together;

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD5-B3, Intel P67, ATX
Intel Core i5-2500K
Corsair AX850, 850 Watt
Cooler Master HAF X
OCZ SSD Vertex 2 120GB 8,9cm (3,5")
EVGA GeForce GTX 580, 1536MB DDR5
8GB-Kit G.Skill RipJaws-X PC3-12800U CL9 1.5v

I'll be putting Windows 7 64 bit on it as well. Also I've an Samsung F3 2TB HD from another machine with all steam files to install.

Should work together just fine :)

Are you just going to use the retail CPU cooler or do you need to buy one? Noctua NH-D14 would be my recommendation

If you want to save a bit of cash then the 850W PSU is overkill, 750W would be totally fine.

2x 6950's would outperform the 580 for only a little more cost. But obvious downsides of power/heat/noise and possible xfire issues. Although the HAF X keeps mine super cool and they are never too noisy except when benchmarking.

Thanks, for the 850w I was thinking a years down the line I could pick in a second 580 when they're cheaper and would need the extra power.
