Gaming PC 1080p -with a slight twist

I am looking for a gaming PC that doesn’t take up much space but can run maxed out Battlefield 4 at 1080p.

I need an OS and keyboard; but have a 1080p monitor.

The slight twist is: I have a Pegasus hard drive with Thunderbolt (Mac man on the side) which I would like to connect to it if possible though willing to cut this requirement if it is really reaching for the stars.

Not fussed as to Intel or AMD just looking for value/performance.

Budget is about £1000 but could push a few hundred more if worth it. Ideally a prebuilt system would be my preference but perhaps it’s time to start a new hobby and build my own?

Suggestions welcomed.

A pre-built will cost more than building yourself but the ease of it being already done plus the warranty and Overclock does off set this!

Have a look at the Prodigy Cobalt system: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-405-OE&groupid=43&catid=2475&subcat=2487

With the following options:

- Radeon R9-290 graphics card
- Windows 8.1 64 bit

The price is slightly north of the budget at £1083.97 inc VAT

This will be able to deliver an epic battlefield experience, the only grip for me, would be the lack of SSD, however you could play around with the options and swap the HDD for an SSD and utilise your existing drive somehow?

Interesting that was on my list; is the thunderbolt connection aiming too much? i know some Motherboard have them...

Also on the graphics card is the R9-290, over kill would the 280 not be enough? and if i was gonna push for the 290 is the x better?

other consideration was :

is the case that much bigger than the other Cobalt; i reaslise this starts pushing the price up higher but 16ram might limit work in the furture?

thanks again
