Chaps,

I've been off the grid for a while, the last time I was looking at systems the Intel Q6600 G0 was popular for overclocking on air.

A good friend of mine who has recently reconciled with his 15 year old son has asked me to spec a Gaming PC for him.

The games he wants to play on it are Battlefield 4, Arma II and Call of Duty.

I'm aware that the Graphics Card is important for such a setup. When I was building my own system a few years back SLI was in it's infancy and touch and go. Have things improved?

If you guys could spec me a PC I would be incredibly grateful.

SLI is much better these days. It's early days with BF4 but there's a rough idea. What's the budget of the build?

The budget is £1300, this is just for the bare PC, no mouse, keyboard or monitor required.

Are all games compatible with SLI now? What is better, two mid-range cards in SLI or one high end card?

Thanks

Ok, really. Excuse me, half asleep!

The majority of games these days work with SLI but in this case I wouldn't bother.

Something like an i5 and a 7950 or something similar should do it, I'm not sure. Half asleep and a little out the loop
