Hello can someone throw me a basket together of an i7 tower with a decent graphics card and 16gb of ram under £800 if possible please? i've tried but i'm not sure what components go best with eachother, having a real hard time with this.

trying to keep it under 800 cos i'd like to buy a 27" monitor too and still keep it under a grand

thanks

i guess i do yeh, but reading other threads i've heard you can pick a copy up for 20quid so you can leave windows out cheers

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £819.80
(includes shipping: £0.00)

The only way to get this less is to put a cheaper non overclokable board+cpu in and a cheaper case.

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £800.12
(includes shipping: £11.70)

But included a SSD and a 8GB gfx card.

thanks man, how much cheaper will that make it? i dont think i'll be overclocking as i'm not even entirely sure what that means

Yes that works.

1080p on a 27" I feel is a bit odd with 1440p looking better as the pixels are smaller.

The non K cpus do come with a stock cooler.

not sure what you mean by a non k cpu, the processor?

Also do i have to add any cables or anything to the basket before i buy?

thanks

The CPU yes.

i7 6700K for example has an unlocked multiplier so overclocking is simple, as these are aimed at enthusiasts more so than nonK versions Intel expects you to already have a suitable form of cooling.

I dont think you need any extra cables.

just got back from a trip and was putting my basket back together to finally purchase and the 16gb of ram has gone up to 59.99 from 52.99. Will it go back down or can i pricematch it to this?
