Gaming PC advice

Hi all, it's been a while. I want a prebuilt gaming PC(mainly fps, some rts and racing) for my son and I am looking for the best performing PC for under 1000 inc mouse keyboard and monitor.
What is the gamers choice these days?

I would have liked bigger if it were me, but he has a tiny desk, 24 should be enough he's getting a lot for xmas as it is

we moved house recently and he's missing his old home, friends and school, so he needs something to look forward too

he also needed his own pc anyway(as he was always hogging mine

)
