Hi all,

Looking to build my gaming PC around graphic card which I already got (4070Ti super)

My budget is about + / - £1000 (British pounds)

I was thinking:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
  • Graphics Card: 16GB NVIDIA RTX 4070ti Super (already have)
  • Motherboard: ASUS Prime B650-Plus
  • Storage: 2TB SAMSUNG 990 EVO Plus M.2
  • RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance DDR5 32 GB 5200 MHz CL40
  • Cooling: CORSAIR H100x RGB Elite High Performance
  • Power Supply: CORSAIR 1000W RMx ATX3.1 Modular Gold (should i go with 850 Gold?)
  • CASE: LIAN LI LANCOOL 205 MESH GAMING CASE

See what you think guys,

Thanks for your help.

Luke

And I am not sure with Motherboard -_- is it good for this build or should I upgrade?
It'll be fine, but the Prime boards tend to be near the bottom of HUB's thermal tests. That's something I consider acceptable if they're cheap and you're not planning to use e.g. a 16 core 9950X in the future.

B850 would give you PCI-E 5.0 graphics (at least, most of them have it), though it isn't necessary. X870 would give you PCI-E 5.0 graphics and USB4.

Cooler: peerless assassin/phantom spirit or freezer 36.

RAM: the most widely recommended memory for AMD AM5 is 6000, preferably C30. The difference is not large with the X3D, so if you're getting a good deal I wouldn't worry.

If you do want a liquid cooler look at Arctic Freezer III they are very good priced.

Case wise it's your choice but I would consider going for Lancool 206 currently 1 in b grade section with an offer I expect you could get that for around £55 that model supports 360 rad front or top.
