Hi all,

It's time to upgrade my Q6600/680 sli with 3gb of DDR2 as it's just not cutting it any more.

I'm currently running 2 x GTX 280s in sli, which I'd like to keep for the time being (so the new mobo must be sli compatible). I know I won't be able to get DX11 etc. but I'll see what a difference the new system makes then take it from there.

All I need is the CPU/Cooler/Mobo/Ram and a decent 128gb SSD that I'll use solely for windows. It's all going in my Antec 1200.

I keep seeing the 3570k being recommended, and I've always gone with Intel so I think that's a good start. It's just the rest I'm left scratching my head about.

As for the budget; there isn't really one. But I don't need anything too amazing. Just a board that can deal with some overclocking, enough ram so that it'll never bottleneck (I do use CAD a bit), a decent (air) cooler, and a reliable and quick SSD.

Oh, and I have a 1000w Enermax Galaxy psu, so I can't imagine that'll hold me back.

Hopefully I haven't missed anything; but if I have please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

This mobo supports SLI/Xfire. 3 year uk based warranty and has a dual BIOS so updating the firmware isn't a nail biting experience. RAM is colour coded to the mobo and is faster for the price than some 1600mhz kits
