Gaming pc build help

Hi guys, I'm looking at building a gaming pc, but have no idea where to start... The computer will be used for a small amount of business work too.

Games I would like to play are racing sims, iracing2, assetto corsa ect. And a rally sim if another decent one comes out in the future.

But also It would be good to get the sims on there for the misses too, saves having two computers and laptops

For a budget, un fortunately it's not that big, I'd be looking somewhere between £500-800? The less the better, but would like to have a decent spec. Price is not including monitor, but I would need mouse and keyboard and everything else.

I will probably miss out on the weekly offer, as i would like a couple of suggestions first i guess to make sure i have what i want at the end of it!

would any of the made to order ones fit my bill? Would like to build my own, but if i can get a good spec out of the box, that would be fine too.

I've had a look at the pre-built prices, even those on the new weekly offers, and nothing comes close to the build I specced performance-to-price, even if you ask OcUK to build it for you (which you can do through the Customer Service section of the forum). The overclocking they do on most pre-builds adds to the cost.

Updated spec taking advantage of a cheaper GPU this week (while CPU price went up). It includes the addition of an optical drive (which wasn't in the previous spec) for the same total cost. You could see what OcUK would quote you for building it and warranty.
