Sorry for being slightly over :D

7850 GPU is quite fantastic. You can easily overclock it and get quite staggering performance from it. 3570K processor is unlocked and can easily overclock to.

Case a good performing but I guess its rather subjective. I have this one and am happy with it. 8GB RAM is pretty much standard now and should be future proof, in terms of gaming, for a while.

The PSU is only 500W but I suspect it should easily be able to power this build. Motherboard is fairly basic, but will be fine for gaming and mild overclocking.

Unfortunately I could not fit a CPU cooler in this build, but unless your friend overclocks a fair bit it's not required:)

Smoogels spec is nice, I would change the PSU but only because i have become super paranoid about the Corsairs CX's.

If you had asked me 9 months ago, i would have recommended it to every other soul. Since then i have had 2 events of a surprise firework display and have since decided to switch to Seasonic or Seasonic re-brand's. The CX's are a re-brand of CWT, which i will still say are reliable but due to paranoia of repeating the firework display, i will trust no one but Seasonic. Just splitting hairs i suppose with these lower power builds.

I have love for the Corsair Carbide
