Hi folks,

Looking for any comments/suggestions anyone has on the build I've picked so far.

PC will be used for gaming mainly/general office working/streaming maybe eventually. I've already got 2 144mhz monitors lined up for it.

I'm at the very top end of my budget with this list so far, so any suggestions would be to reduce the price if anything. At the very least keep it at the same price. I think the Motherboard in particular may be a bit expensive.

My basket at Overclockers UK:
  • 1 x OcUK Tech Labs Intel 10th Gen "Comet Lake" Midi Tower Gaming PC Configurator = £1,272.67
    • Case:Kolink Castle Midi Tower Case - Black
    • CPU:Intel Core i5-10600K 4.10GHz (Comet Lake) Socket LGA1200 Processor - OEM
    • Motherboard:MSI MPG Z490 Gaming Edge WIFI (Socket LGA 1200) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
    • CPU Cooler:Arctic Liquid Freezer II High Performance CPU Water Cooler - 120mm
    • Memory:Team Group Vulcan Z T-Force 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 PC4-24000C16 3000MHz Dual Channel Kit - Grey
    • Graphics Card:Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER WindForce OC 8192MB GDDR6 PCI-Express Graphics Card
    • M.2 Solid State Drive 1 (Primary Drive If Selected):WD Blue SN550 1TB NVME M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 Solid State Drive (WDS100T2B0C)
    • 2.5" SATA Solid State Drive 1:WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB 2.5" SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive (WDS500G2B0A)
    • Power Supply:Kolink Modular Power 700W 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply
Total: £1,286.77 (includes shipping: £14.10)

Thanks in advance for any help or comments anyone has. Open to all thoughts on it.

Thanks for the advice folks.

As for resolution, I'm a bit new to it, so was thinking no more than 1440 for now, if even that much.

Whats the advantages of a mesh front case? Is it better cooling?

For psu, am I better with a 650 gold than a 700 or 800 bronze? I know the 10th gen chips are a bit power hungry.

And I was going to hold off until the new gpus are announced anyway, but I thought I would probably have to wait a couple of months if I wanted to see any sort of price drops in the price range I'm shopping in.

Thanks again for everyone's input.
