Gaming pc questions

Been out of the loop for ages!
Really thinking about building a pc for purely gaming pubG, dota2, new battlefield title.

Nothing else would be done on this system apart from gaming and watching YouTube.

What’s the best bang for buck cpu? Is amds offering good for gaming? Worth building at this moment in time of new tech around the corner?
I’m really out of touch.

AMD offer more cores for less money but intel are still single core king.

Still If i was building a budget PC now I would pick a ryzen set up with maybe a 1050ti as they havnt gone crazy due to mining and will still make a good attempt at most games at 1080p.

You might want to go 1060 for pubg/bf but the prices of those even have escalated beyond what I would perceive as "value for money".

People will be able to help better if you have a budget in mind?

I think for budget system Ryzen is the best bet with value for money.

I wouldnt want to be in position of buying a GPU right now as prices shot up crazy

The card I have now went up by about 100 150...

I’d say £1500-£2000 includes everything except the monitor.

I have nothing at all at the minute it’s a complete scratch build

Well at that price point you certainly arent looking at "budget" components!

Thats ryzen7/i7 and 1070/ti money!

I’d rather keep it closer to 1500 just looking for best value, instead of having a computer that goes way beyond my needs

You could squeeze an Intel 8600, nvidia 1070 build in for less than 1500!

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/tita...-core-i5-7600k-4.8ghz-kabylake-fs-125-og.html closer to the 1500 make and got a gtx1070 in it for gaming but you need windows on it which adds about 90

I'd recommend going with Ryzen - a Intel cpu would take a lot of your budget.
