Gaming PC Spec please, £1500-2k spend.

Hey
Wanting to get a gaming pc built and have a budget of between £1500 to 2k (towards the 2k only if it would really make a difference).
I play a variety of games so would want it to cover most of what requirements would be needed.
I don't need a monitor or any peripherals.
Current monitor is G-Sync so would need to factor that in and whether that would make any difference.

Please help me with some spec ideas

prebuilt or DIY?
what exact monitor do you have? (ie is it proper gsync or "gsync compatible")
any preference team blue/team red or team green?
any programs that you use that would suggest one over the other eg cuda etc

Would need to be prebuilt, too much money for me to screw it up.
Had to check again as its been a while and its just g-sync compatible.
Dont have any preference, just want the best i can get for my money.

No OS needed and currently most games i play at 1440.

so this opens up the use of radeon GPUs

ocuk will also cover this with their standard 3 year warranty if they build this (or any other custom build) for you

Do you have any recommendations for a rear fan? Or are they all pretty much similar?
Visually it would annoy me not having one there

might as well get the same one for the rear to keep it uniform

I've seen a 850w gold modular power supply for the same price as the above 750w recommended. Would there be a reason not to get the 850w? Maybe i just wouldn't need it with the spec?

There's nothing wrong with having 850, but which model specifically? Gold doesn't mean much.

I believe the GX-750 is better, higher quality parts and a 10 year warranty (A850GL is 7).

No problem. I think MSI's equivalent part is the AxxxG in ATX 3.0 or AxxxGF (pre ATX 3.0).

it looks better but there's minimal, if any, performance difference
i'd stick to the hellhound if it were me

just one more thing, could you please just confirm again your monitor make and model?
i know you said it's gsync compatible but i'd just like to confirm myself
better to check twice and not make a mistake

Its so easy to carried away with the looks as well (which comes with a price) :cry:
