Hi guys,

I'm just upgrading my current PC from:
Intel i7 4790K (stock) with H100i
MSI-Gaming 7 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM (DDR3-2400*)
ASUS GTX 1080 Ti ROG STRIX OC
PSU: EVGA 750W SuperNOVA G2

RAM running at 1600Mhz as my CPU isn't OC and i'm a noob and can't work out how to OC it - i've read up and some bits it said to adjust i wasn't able too as greyed out, so I didn't bother and the motherboard OC button just does **** all :) Not really found anywhere which has been a great support - new to these forums though but been shopping at OC for years.

Anyway, upgrading to
MBD: Asus Maximus X Hero
CPU: Intel Core i7-8700K (Will OC to 5Ghz hopefully)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H150i PRO AIO
RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 32GB DDR4 3200Mhz
GPU: ASUS GTX 1080 Ti ROG STRIX OC
PSU: EVGA 750W SuperNOVA G2

but I also have a PC from a mate which is...
Intel i5 2500K
16GB RAM (1600Mhz)
Nvidia GTX 650 Ti
Elgato HD 60 PRO

He used it as his stream pc and I stream quite often, wasn't sure if to have that as a stream pc to take stress from my PC or sell it?

Thanks folks!

I'm not an AMD fan to be honest - even though I hear a lot about how good for the price they are but I just can't stand AMD lol.

Intel and Nvidia is my preference :)

Also I do actually have a media PC built with Ryzen 1800X. Just wasn't sure if was worth me keeping the i5 pc for streaming along side my actual gaming pc or better off selling for the buck?

To be honest I don't read into any of that bud, just goes over my head what they do in the company, only thing which matters to me is how the products perform for me and I personally have found Nvidia/Intel to work better for me. I've had driver issues for previous AMD GPU's and I don't feel the speed from AMD (maybe it's my mind playing tricks on me as I prefer Intel).

The high prices of both companies is my only annoyance with them but nevermind, not much we can do about that. 2nd hand and sales is the way I go :)

stream/capture card your main rig - if you happen to have a second system then great but takes up a lot of space

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £178.69 (includes shipping: £8.70)

So you would rather keep it than sell it?

Would it be such a big difference having it for streaming with a spec like mine above? (8700k, 1080 ti, 32gb ram)

I play at 1440p and do have a 144hz monitor, so I guess running at better frames would be rather nice!
