Gaming PC - Which Windows?

I have just made a new gaming PC and have windows 8.1 on it. (Old HDD)
I was going to do a fresh install as Im sure you guys will agree I should, which OS tho? Worth jumping to Windows 10? Go back to good old Windows 7?

Its a 6600k with a 770GTX, a SSD and a single 2.5" HDD, I use it just for gaming (Mainly racing simulators) and have a PC upstairs for general stuff and other games.

Just jump to 10. Eventually DX12 is going to be the main API and you'll have to use 10 - might as well get accustomed to it.

I'm a racing sim fan primarily too and all.of my racing sims are well complemented with w10 + Anniversary update
