Hello everyone :D!
So I've decided to buy a new pc.

these are the parts that i was thinking of getting:

Case - Thermaltake VH6000BWS
http://www.thermaltake.com/product/Chassis/fulltower/armorPlus/vh6000bws.asp
PSU - OCZ GameXStream 700W
http://www.ocztechnology.com/produc...cz_gamexstream_power_supply-nvidia_sli_ready_
or CoolerMaster Realpower 700
http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?act=detail&tbcate=22&id=2574

CPU - Intel Q9450

CPU Cooler - Zalman CNPS9700 LED

RAM - Gskill 4-4-3-5 PC6400

Graphics card - 8800 gts (G92) Asus
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=2&l2=6&l3=442&l4=0&model=2003&modelmenu=2

Motherboard - Asus p5e
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=11&l3=572&l4=0&model=1873&modelmenu=1

Hardrive - Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB SATA Bulk 3,5"

Monitor - LG L226WTQ-SF 22"
http://www.lge.com/products/model/detail/l226wtq.jhtml

This pc will be mainly for gaming, but also movie editing and video rendering. I would like to know what power supply to get, the ocz one or the coolermaster or is there some other psu I should get? I will not be running 2 graphics cards.
I was thinking of getting the new nvidia gt200 when it is released, and I want my psu to be able to power it, or power any other next gen card, so will 700w be enough?

Then the mobo should I get the p5e? Or should i get some other mobo?

And what thermal paste should i get arctic silver 5?

If u have any other suggestions post and let me know :D.

Thanks.

Wow those are some low timings on the RAM!

I'm currently using a Coolermaster realpower 520W, and have had no problems with that, although I can't say I'm an expert on PSU's. If in doubt on which one to get though, just go for an equivalent Corsair. Everybody on here recommends them because of how reliable and quiet they are.
