Last night i was quote on a pc so now my problems is that.
Am i will of to wait for a graphic card with directx 11 or get 1 now.
I hear people waiting for the new cards is it worth waiting.

It is definitely a interesting question, but the answer really comes down to each individual.

The benefit of the new cards are that they will have more raw power (more frames per second), smaller process (cooler, better power consumption) and support DX11 (new cool tessellation stuff enabled, but not going to be properly implemented for a while). That said, these cards will not come out till october (ATI) and 2010 (nvidia).

If you have a decent gaming computer now and just want a new shinier graphics card then waiting may be a good idea.

However, if you do not have a gaming computer then waiting is much less easy to recommend. Current generation hardware will easily handle all the lovely games that have been released, so you would get months of extra enjoyment if you bought now. If you get a bargain card like this or this, then you could play all games at top detail, sell it in October and buy a DX11 card.

+1 completely agree

There has not been any dx11 games released yet (as far as I know), so I cannot confirm or deny whether they will work.

However, dx10 games worked with dx9 hardware, it just meant the dx10 macguffins weren't enabled. Hopefully it will be the same with dx 10 cards on dx11 games.

I would wait, simply because it's not worth getting a DX10 card right now as there are so few games that use the features.

Unless you need the performance of those cards right now to play some game specifically, wait to upgrade until you need to :)

and there's even less dx11 games out like 0.
Games are backwards computable. So you will be able to play dx11 games on a dx10 card. You will just lose a bit of the bells and whistles. We don't even now how good these will look. It'll probably be a year before we see dx11 games become resonanbly mainstream.

Unless you already have a very good gaming pc, there is zero point waiting.

= does not make sense

DX10 hardware is currently at bargain prices (285/295 excluded!) you are currently getting a lot of performance for your money! DX11 games will lag behind the hardware just like DX10 stuff!
