Hi

Basically, WoW has started to lag and just 'freeze up' all of a sudden, and my FPS has dropped from a steady 60'ish down to random numbers, I get like 20 odd FPS flying now in Northrend and I used to get about 30'ish FPS in cities, even with the amount of people on screen, it would 'lag' but not in a FPS way, and now I get like 10-15 FPS in cities.

I don't know if it's a GPU problem or what, but a thing that did occur to me, I was playing that Bloodbowl game last weekend and my comp blue screened out of nowhere, again, not sure what the issue was specifically but it could have something to do with what I am experiencing atm with WoW.

Anyone have any recommendations on what the problem could be and how I go about sorting it out?

Thanks.

sorry m8 im not a full tech head but why dont you
uninstall your gpu drivers and do a fresh install
with the latest drivers if you dont have them already.

maybe take out your gpu clean any dust in its fan and resit
it back in to make sure it hasent came loose or anything.

maybe sum of the more technical guys will jump in now that
i have bumped this for you

Out of interest which gpu are you running? if cleaning cooler on gpu doesn't make an improvement then start looking deeper into whether its the psu.

What was the error code of the blue screen you had?

Hi

Bit of a late response to this question but WoW just froze up again for about 15 seconds and when it un-froze these are the graphics glitches that appeared:

I have circled in red (stating the obvious) the glitches that appeared, under a UI addon for the casting/health bars etc. and a random square bit of graphic randomly over the map in the top right corner.

Does this mean the problem is with my graphics card?

Well, after running Furmark for a few minutes, all that I can see is the temprature of the GPU increasing, it got to about 92 before I quit the program incase something happened to my card.
