Gaming Problems...

Hey guys,
just got my new pc from overclockers

just got a small problem... when im playing games it keeps taking me out of the game and put me on the start screen (as if ive just pressed the windows button)

Anyone got any ideas what might be causing this?

try pressing ALT + TAB and switching back to the game, then press ALT+ENTER to maximise the game from windowed screen to full screen.

yep all games and no i havent tried a different keyboard ill have to try tht

Does it happen if you don't touch the keyboard at all?

Do you have sticky keys turned on?

Press shift 5 times, do you hear a beep? You should turn sticky keys off on a gaming pc.

i had the exact same problem, my games were minimising them selfs try this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135
takes a wile but it troubleshoots what programe is pulling focus from your game so u can disable it

mine ended up being my tp link wireless software

the game doesnt crash i can just click on it and the same thing happens 30 secs later, i do use a tp link wireless adapter u think it could b sumthin to do with tht?

What game is it? Does it have windowed mode?

ok, i think ive cracked it, I think it was sticky keys, it was off but i also unchecked the box in the settings which makes it come up after pressing shift 5 times and just played WoW for about 30 mins with no problems
