Evening peeps, so my rig has been stripped down atm and while it was in pieces i though i may aswell change the graphics card, currently im gaming on a 7970 so for a change i have decided to go with nvidia so out of the below 780's what is a decent boost if any over my old 7970.

YOUR BASKET
1 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 780 HOF 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **ALL WHITE** £419.99
1 x Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 WindForce 3x "GHz Edition" 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **OcUK Exclusive** £419.99
1 x EVGA GeForce GTX 780 SC ACX Superclock 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (03G-P4-2784-KR) £419.99
1 x Asus GeForce GTX 780 Direct CU II OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £419.99
1 x Gainward GeForce GTX 780 Phantom 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £359.99
Total : £2,049.54 (includes shipping : £8.00).

Rest of system is in signature im running everything at stock for now but may try my hand at overclocking my cpu and gpu, cheers

They'll all perform similar, depends on the stock boost OC. My money would probably go for the HOF or WF3x, but to be fair that price for the normal Phantom cannot be missed, if you're going to manually overclock anyway, might as well get the cheapest lol :)

I went from a 7970 to a 780 and noticed the difference, more so in some titles than others. I have the Gigabyte Windforce 3x GHZ and can't fault it, fantastic cooler.

Cheers guys, forgot to mention even though my system is under water i have pulled the plug and gone back to air cooling i take it they all pretty good on air?

Gainward is triple slot so I wouldn't get that. I'll get the gigabyte prob. Kfa is highlybinned too. None of the rest

Seen a few people recommend buying a decent used 780 so got a couple of questions. Cards that are of this spec or higher are they generally in a great condition of ebay and is there a risk buying one from say germany? Only ask because i have seen a few at decent prices and a couple even with postage come out reasonable from europe.

Lol (a virgin here).:p

Aneskimo, It was a bit of fun asking how you are enjoying newer/bigger/faster hardware, I assumed you would have heard that term before.
