Looking to purchase a new pc and I originally slated to get one from another site which I wont mention but I was getting horrible value for money.

Anyway ive been looking at the titan 8700i pulse bundle with a couple of changes, adding the ssd, but ive been struggling on the graphics card. The 7950 or the gtx 660ti, ive leant towards the gtx but im not all that knowledgable on graphics cards and im just wondering can anyone give me a second opinion?

I mainly play games like dayz and battlefield.

7950 better value v power / cost

but it also depend on what test site you go on, as on quite a few the gtx 660ti seems to be a bit quicker, so i guess it a choice what board you have or which one you like, im for amd, but many will say different.

can't say there's that much difference between then which ever one you go for.

7950 is better for the money. Though Nvidia have there advantages such as CUDA for CAD and such..

My money'd be on the 7950.

You thought about building yourself?

I've literally just purchased a build for the same reasons as you, recording game play. I personally went with the 690GTX as I'd be recording with DxTory in most gaming periods. But for DayZ I hope you've chosen a decent CPU as that game is terribly optimized.. I'm sure you can keep seeing improvements right up to a 5.0Ghz overclock !

It's an i5 3570k it should do the job, I much prefer the i5 to the i7 for gaming and therefore that left some cash in the kitty for a better graphics card and ssd...

I'm just wondering guys for the graphics card I am going for the gtx660ti, however which one is best with the overclocked system? Would it be the Evga or kfa2... Friend told me to go with the Evga but anybody else have an opinion, he didn't really say why to.
