Hi,

Pretty new to the PC gaming community....Think the last PC I had came Win98 and about 64meg of RAM...

Looking at spending around £700 - £750. Operating system, monitor etc not included in this price.

Price for the kit below just comes shy of £800 with delivery.

What do you think as a gaming rig...Pretty sure you can better it.

Cheers

Ian

Welcome,

1 x Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO SATA 6Gb/s Basic - (MZ-7TE250BW) £145.99
1 x **B Grade** Gigabyte Z77-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard £60
1 x BitFenix Shinobi USB3.0 Gaming Case - Black £49.99
1 x TeamGroup Elite Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C11 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (TED38GM1600HC11DC01) £47.99
1 x OCZ ZS Series 550W '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply £43.99
1 x Silverstone Argon SST-AR01 CPU Cooler - 120mm £28.99

Sticking with intel, Got a k series (overclockable) CPU, though the motherboard is b grade. This means it was an ex-display or a return, though it is working (otherwise they'd be breaking the law selling it), a great bargain, as it is the best budget Z77 motherboard. :)

The 7950 is the run-away winning at this price point at the moment. :)
