I'm new to the forum and looking to learn from your great expertise
I have been interested in pc's and pc hardware for a few years now but haven't joined the forums until now

I thought I'd ask use for advice on a build for £1500

A build mainly for gaming above anything else. I have a budget of £1500 and would like some views on what parts to choose (peripherals included) for £1500. I can stretch it to £1600 if needs be.

I know I wont have the ultimate gaming machine but I'd like a rig that can run Skyrim with the hd pack and mods at ultra as well as Witcher 2 assassins of kings enhanced edition and Crysis 3.

I know Intel cpu's are better than Amd cpu's but I am open to any suggestions.

All opinions will be highly appreciated

Thanks all and glad to be apart of the forum!

As for not having the ultimate gaming PC, the above spec would chew up and spit out everything you throw at it. In the exception of 4k monitors!

Motherboard has 4 years warranty, the graphics cards are regarded as one of the best 290s (6 games included as well!) and a superb PLATINUM rated PSU. The case can be changed to suit your own personal tastes. As for the SSD I have always rated the Samsung Evo, there are certainly faster ones but the Evo is just a very reliable well trusted piece of kit.

EDIT, O bugger I saw you did need peripherals included! - Do you need a monitor and OS with that? If its just the mouse, keyboard and headset then you can take off one of the graphics cards and choose which mouse, headset and keyboard suits your taste.

EDIT, had to change graphics cards. Not sure you can fit two powercolor 290s in

Hey thanks for the build! I'm loving it! Yes I would need a monitor and mouse+keyboard as I have a laptop at the moment but if worst comes to worst I could stretch my budget to £1900 if that would help things a bit more?

Thanks a lot though!

Updated, and yes its a bit more expensive that we started off with 20 mins ago. However that would be one hell of a gaming machine and I would love to own it myself.

140 HZ monitor for the two tri-x 290.

If we need to reduce the price, I am sure we can!

As a note I opted to take win8.1 over 7. Win 8 apparently has better performance over 7.

Well I guess seeing as it will be my first gaming rig I think I could definitely spend the extra cash because I have been saving for a long time now :) But I do like your build so it will be my first priority! Thanks a lot again!
