Hey guys I am looking for advice on a gaming system I'm going to be buying in a week or so. I wanted to see if you guys could help me and give me a rough idea of how it would perform and if all the components I have selected could be changed out with better ones near the same price point. Keep in mind I am american, so all figures are in USD.

I will be mainly using this system for Heavy gaming. I like to game on 1920x1080 and want to max all current games out, as well as future ones. I also will be doing some Video editing and high resolution photoshop work.

My budget is: $2000-$2100 USD.

Here are the components I have selected, what do you guys think?

CASE: HAF 932
MOTHERBOARD: Asus Rampage III Extreme
PROCESSOR: i7 930
MEMORY/RAM: G.Skill Trident 6GB 2000mhz 9-9-9-24 (not paying the ridiculous prices of Corsair Dominator GT for a pretty design ~ I've even seen the Tridents beat out the Dominators in almost every review - any other reccomendations if not these G.Skill?)
GRAPHICS: GTX 480 (I want the best of the best, but I don't want to spend $700 on the 5970)
PSU: Enermax 1050w
HDD: 1TB 64MB Cache Black from WD
CPU COOLER: Noctua U12P

Does anyone think they would swap any of these components out?

Thanks.

Yes i'd dump that cooler and go for say a corsair H50 cooler it's a already to go one and get's great reviews. and on this site for £66.will be a lot cooler and stable than that air one.
you could go for an ssd for you're OP system and use that drive for everything else as D drive.
Plus you will need to make sure you have plenty of fans in the case as that cards great from what ive seen to keep you're take away warm while you're playing.Sizzle.and power hungry.so have to take into consideration.
Plus if you want to go full water cooling etc in the future that case is not the best one for that they reckon abit restricted inside with layout?
You don't say what op system you're going for and 32/64 bit?
a lot of the guy's are saying/going for 5850 xfired and clocked cards as plenty of room on the cards for it.cheaper and as good if not better plus xfire gives more return than sli.

If you want it primarily for gaming - switch the i7/X58 to an i5/P55 setup - and use the money saved to buy a 5970 (or 5850s in crossfire for less money). An i7 simply isn't required for a gaming system - an i5 quad core is just as fast.

Couple that with a good 750W PSU and 4GB DDR3 RAM and you will have the makings of an ridiculous gaming system.
