Hey guys, I've been out of the hardware loop for a while now, good 2 years or so. I have a rough idea what I'm look for but not sure entirely what works well with what, gaming rig with a max budget of £1300, obviously can come in under that!

I don't need an OS. Need a monitor and mechanical keyboard preferred. :)

Thanks guys, I've always stuck with AMD chipsets, what kind of speeds could I expect from haswell?

Not really, only with a 6300 AMD cpu!

For gaming you won't need 16gb of ram, most of the time 8gb is plenty.

Builds above much superior.

The AMD setup is overclocked from 3.5ghz, the Intel you can do a little overclock without to much effort to give a free performance boost.

spec looks a lot better :)

I know it's the wrong section to ask such a question, but what kind of overclocking potential does it have?
I wouldn't know where to begin really!

Edit: There are a few tutorial videos out there, i'll thoroughly research and I will like a little boost out of 3.4.

Thanks again :)
