im not sure about p67 vs z68, the way i see it, im not really mad on any of the features z68 has, not bothered about ssd caching and im always going to be using a ded. graphics card, so why bother?
 
Because the ASUS board for example is cheaper, they arent missing out on anything the P67 board has (they in fact improve on the features) and if anything happens to your graphics card (faulty/sell it) you can still use the PC until a replacement arrives.
