Just pricing up a gaming rig, after a good few years away from things like this - when I built my last rig, the 9800ST was the best GPU around. :)

Came up with the following, any obvious balls-ups, or is it all OK?

Cheers.

Motherboard: Asus P8P67 Pro Rev3
CPU: Core i5-2500K (SandyBridge)
GPU: 2x 1GB Asus GeForce GTX560 (SLI)
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance Blue DDR3 1600MHz
HD: Seagate 1TB Barracuda Green
PSU: FSP AU-700
Case: Silverstone Raven 2 RV02B-EW

Go for a Z68 Motherboard ready for IvyBridge. You should change the RAM as you can get more affordable for around the same performance.

And go for this power supply

OK, did a bit of reading, will switch to the MSI Z68A-GD80 for the motherboard.

The GPUs, there are many GTX 560 Ti cards, any in particular to go for? And will (as I've read) 2 of them in SLI outperform the daddy cards, like the 580, while costing less?

Thanks.

2x MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr?

Go for the MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti Twin FrozR II, there is a choice between the normal version or the factory OCed version.
