Hi

I currently have the following rig:

Intel Core i3 3220 3.30GHz Socket 1155 3MB Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Be Quiet Pure Power 530W Modular PSU
Seagate 1TB Barracuda 3.5" SATA-III Hard Drive - 7200RPM 64MB Cache
CiT Vantage Gaming Case Black HD Audio Black Interior 4 Fans Card Reader No PSU
Kingston 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Blu Memory Kit CL9 1.65V
Liteon Ihas124 24x Dvd±rw (dual ±r)/ram Sata Drive (internal Black)
Gigabyte GA-Z77-D3H Socket 1155 VGA DVI HDMI 8 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium w/SP1
VTX3D Black Edition Radeon HD 7870 (Tahiti LE) OC 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card

I have got an SSD to put in, and the graphics card has died, so wondering what recommendations people have for upgrading.

I was thinking of upgrading the processor, adding more memory and a new graphics card.

Thinking of spending around £400

Thanks

Andy

To keep your current motherboard you will need to go second hand for CPU upgrade, DDR3 is cheap to buy used so I would install the max capacity of the fastest stuff you can get.
Do you just have the stock CPU cooler for the i3? How old is your PSU?
And what games do you play and at what resolution?
