Gaming rig upgrades

HI bought this rig about a year ago for gaming and im planning to upgrade in soon got a budget of about £200-£300 the spec's are:

AMD fx6100
AMD Radeon HD6870
******** 600w modular psu
asus m5a97
8gb corsair vengence
coolermaster v10
500gb western digital hard drive
Coolermaster Storm Trooper Case

Oh wow, this is a tricky one..

There are solutions but each have there own big issues. Let me explain.

You could upgrade your GPU, maybe to a 280X, but your CPU will bottleneck it..

so, you'd have to think about upgrading that, let say you go for a 8230. Well you shouldn't because a 8320 really needs a motherboard with good power regulation (6+2 phase control is a must really) Which your motherboard doesn't have (unless its the EVO variant).

Im a bit stuck on what to suggest.

im running an 8350 on m5a97 r2 and it runs fine with xigmatek aegir 2 fans push n pull, obviously i cant overclock it and i have given up trying! but to run at stock will be fine
so upgrade cpu
and upgrade gpu
what psu do you have? its starred out, if its rubbish then upgrade that too
