Hi I have about £650 for a cpu, mobo, mem, gfx card and hd.
I'm not too techincal about overclocking so I wont be overclocking the cpu and stuff. I've read intel new cpu is best for gaming. Can some1 help me spec a pc pls. I have a case monitor and stuff. It will be mainly for gaming fps and wow. I think I'll probably need a higher psu. Only have like 420w atm.
Thanks you

i just ordered a core 2 duo e6300, gigabyte ds3 mobo, corsair xms2-6400 cas 4 2gb kit, ati x1800xt, and a Artic cooling freezer 7, for £620, leaves you £30 for a h/d = not enough. You could get cheaper ram or mite have add a bit more to the budget if you want a new psu and good h/d.

I probably wont get a new hd till next month. If for example I get the items u have will my psu handle it or will I need a bigger psu?

Welcome to the forums. £30 is technically enough for a new hard drive, the Samsung 80gb comes in at almost exactly £30. This might do, it is basically what Benny06 has suggested but the Ram is a little cheaper(although should be just as good) and I've included a PSU although depending on how good yours is you may not need it. Who is the manufacturer of your PSU?
