I'm planning to buy one or 2 components every 2 weeks, that way i can afford a really expensive gaming rig while only spending my comminsion.

So any suggestions. I quickly popped onto overclockers and put this together so something similar to this. Will be my first big build :)

Cheers for the reply.

The rig will be used for gaming mainly but also video editing and programming.

Web development.

I have overkilled a little just to see the worst possible price for me.

As for the physx card i'll leave it and thank you for the advise on the 8800, i purely added the 620mb as i heard they were better but after searching this site (which i find to be believable!) it seams your right so i will opt for the 512mb ones instead.

SLI is something i would like to do and also overclocking.

And before anyone shouts at me for the PSU it was recommended, if someone has a better one let me know!

I did say i was open to options. If you think the cart is c*ap and want to help me please feel free :)

I don;t bite.

The blueray writer i want ro a HD writer as i will be burning off HD quality film soon and also using it for some other bits and pieces. Although i really only need a BD player not as much a writer.

As for *** TB Hdd's i was planning to Raid them because ive managed t fill 750gb as it is. Its just the TB hdd's will sort that out.

Anyway as i said any help is appriciated and as the build develops then better components or better combo's may appear so i'm not goingt o rush it through yet.

Ok so ive got a lot to think about.

As for buying component by component, i am planning to buy the case, psu, hard drives and dvd-rw drives over the net three months then buy the mobo, ram, cpu ect in one go.

Its only the bits that wont change i will buy now.
