hey guys,gona try and build my first pc over the next few weeks but just need some expert advice on what i can get for my money...unfortunatly my budget is quite low £450? would it be possible to build a pc that would run cod4 on high?

Thanks for the replys guys...some nice looking specs there. I think im probably going to go down the intel road rather than amd,you sure 450w psu is enough to handle a 4870?...il prob make a mess of the build,but i suppose every1 has to start somewhere

it works out a few pound cheaper and (i think) the ocuk guys build the barebones system?could be wrong though

ye it is 50 pound dearer but ur spec has free shipping and charged 15% VAT...im irish so im charged dearer shipping and 21% VAT

...other than that...is all i have in that spec ok?

na im going to go with intel over amd....what sorta speeds would be achievable with stock cooler on e5200?
