Hi, I'm going to attempt my first build. Please can you look over my proposed basket and suggest any improvements.
Are there any other items that I will need to get? I will probably add a 2nd 560 TI in SLI at a later date so is my power supply and motherboard up to it?

The power supply only has 2 pci-e connectors and the 560 requires 2 so that means you will not be able to to use sli unless you use molex connectors.

but if you can afford it I'd go even further so as to say get this.

Also, the antec 300 isn't in stock at OcUK at the mo, so unless you're waiting a while or ordering anywhere else you might want to chose a different case.

Theres not much different in the Antec 100 to be honest.

IIRC, the antec 100 is actually better than the antec 300, so change the case to the 100

Thanks for the advice. what are the real differences between the 100 and 300?

Also, do i need to buy seperate thermal compound for the cpu or does the cooler have it applied already?

The Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro comes with some good thermal compound applied already.

Also how about the Asus P8Z68-V PRO Intel Z68 motherboard, only £10 more?

Go for a Corsair A50 or Gelid Tranquillo CPU cooler as they are a bit better, if funds don't permit that, then the Coolermaster Hyper 212+

In this review (from the graph) you can see the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro (named 'AC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2) 5th from bottom where as the Corsair A50 is midway up.
