Hey
I'm at a stage where I have been researching every single night for about 3 weeks on the creation of a new system to run P3D.
My mind is boggled as i've seen so many different opinions regarding 4 or 6 cores which is making me confused even more.
So if you wouldn't mind, id like your honest opinions on which of the 2 systems below you would personally choose to run P3d V3.
I'm more bothered about FLYING, not really that into really amazing visuals as im more than aware this is a flight simulator. The only thing I would love to run well is the PMDG 777 and 737.
I'll have EZDOK, FSUIPC, WIDEFS, GSX installed also.
System 1 Skylake 6700K (4 core)
Case: NZXT Phantom 530 Full Tower
MoBo: Asus Z170-A
CPU: Intel i7 6700k Overclocked to 4.6GHz
RAM: 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 Vengeance LPX, 3000MHz (15-17-17-35)
Cooler: Corsair Hydro H110i
PSU: 750W Gold Modular
GPU: Asus STRIX 6GB GTX 980Ti
SSD: M.2 256GB Samsung PCIe 3.0 (With OS on I think)
SSD: 500GB Samsung 850 EVO 2.5''
OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
System 2 5820K (6 cores)
Case: NZXT Phantom 530 Full Tower
MoBo: Asus X99-A
CPU: Intel i7 5820K Overclocked to 4.4Ghz
RAM: 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 Vengeance LPX, 3000MHz (15-17-17-35)
Cooler: Corsair Hydro H110i
PSU: 750W Gold Modular
GPU: Asus STRIX 6GB GTX 980Ti
SSD: M.2 256GB Samsung PCIe 3.0 (With OS on I think)
SSD: 500GB Samsung 850 EVO 2.5''
OS: Windows 10 Home 64bit
Both of these systems are very very similar in price, infact hardly any difference.
I will also be purchasing a 4K monitor (I think) with this system.
If you would be so kind to give me some opinions and your honest preference I would be very greatful as at the moment I really am stuck.
Thanks, Adam
