Gaming Router

Hello

I really need a new router. I am a PC gamer, I have an 8MB connection with BT and currently use there Home Hub.
There are 2 computers connected and my brother uses the wireless for PSN and his laptop.
I want a router that lets me allocate whatever bandwidth to users.

I'd probably go with one of the cheaper Linksys E-series routers. They let you set up QoS for specific devices and/or ports, letting you tell the router how much bandwidth goes where. Seeing as you're on an 8Mb line and you don't seem to need any attached storage, you'd be fine with something like an E2000, don't need to spend more than that. Not tried that particular model though, so I can't say much for it's stability and such.

It seems after more reading i will be needing a modem/router combo.
Will an upgrade from my BT Home Hub have noticeable improvement??
