Is the XL2411 still the defacto in price / performance is the asus on two VG24QE on two better for the extra tenner? Im not bothered by 3d take it or leave it but Ive heard the aoc isn't great for colours or blur compared to the other options however it is a lot cheaper

Help guys

There are comprehensive reviews of all three models and a comparison between the ASUS and BenQ on my website (see signature). I'm not sure where you heard the AOC 'isn't great for colours', it's slightly better than the others in that department. But not for responsiveness.

The XL2411T. Better colours after OSD adjustments than the ASUS, much better responsiveness than the AOC and colours not far off to be honest. Also the flicker free backlight of the latest revision is a nice bonus.

Since OC have an eta for the Benq XL2411t there is a strong chance those will be the new model - featuring a PWM-free backlight. I'd throw them an email and ask to confirm.

Bit of a bump,

Its my birthday week and looking at treating myself the new screens are in and on today only

YES or NO?

Woohoo, we made your shortlist :-) thank you

The G2460PQU was designed over the past 12 months by a UK gaming team in conjunction with our R&D, i can assure you that they wasted no time on colours :-) they had one target audience in mind which is themselves; pro gamers, so the result is a monitor that is purely designed with gamers in mind.

This monitor was used on the finals stage at I49 with 2 banks of 6 being constantly played, feedback was amazing, we also run a compeition on trackmania on our stand where we had the top 3 european competitors that were very happy with the monitor and very surprised at how low the price was.

Repsonse time close enough to 1ms for not even superman to notice something faster

Built so solid that only the Hulk could damage it

More inputs than R2D2 would need to connect to the Millennium Falcon to blow up the Death Star

Don't be put off by the low price and if you are an enthusiast game gamer who lives to pay FPS, be greatful for the lack of headaches :-)

Any problems, come to me directly

I gave my dad my AOC 27 inch lcd monitor its still going strong cheaper doesn't mean bad it just means its priced to sell people like asus and that live off of their name.
