Im looking for a gaming seat, to go with my console. The ones i have seen around the £100 mark are the pyramat sound rocker, and the x-rocker for £90.

Does anyone here own a gaming seat and can comment on comfort levels?

I've had a look around, but they all seem a bit OTT... get a few nice fat bean bags, they're more comfy!

I actually found a gaming bean bag that looked great, but it was about £250. I have a bean bag at the moment, but its not big enough really, i need a bit of support on my back, so the question really is do these chairs offer any kind of support, can you lean back without falling over mid game.

My living room really lends itself to a decent stowawable chair :)

whats wrong with using that enormous arm chair or sofa?

Its too far away, its alright for regular games, but for pro evo, the players are too small :)

The plants rock, leave the plants alone :p

The bean chair looks just the trick joebob, its a shame they only do it in that white colour.

I actually do have a couple near me, ill toddle along tomorrow and see if i can test drive one, cheers ;)

Budhha bag looks great, but pricey, kids would ensure i would never get to use it :)

When we move house next year me and the mrs are thinking of having budda bags in the lounge rather than normal sofa's.

I think they're damn cool, and look sooo comfy.

What about one of those X rocker ones or whatever they are called, they kind of rock back and forth and have a sub in the back and small speakers on the sides.

Officially Called
X-Rocker Multimedia Chair with Built-In Speakers & Subwoofer

That was one of my suggestions, has anyone actually purchased one? I wondered how comfortable they were to play sitting in.

they look expensive - cool though!

They are! We spotted them in the Lowry centre up in Salford a few months back. They where stupidly overpriced for a beanbag, upto about £1400 IIRC for some of the larger ones and still more expensive if you wanted leather etc on top of that.

My brother has the pyramat rocker and its alright but nout special I didn't think.

ikea poang chair, i use it for my pc, its laid back, amazing chair :D , sit for hours in the same position its that comfy, best £70 i spent in a while, i think they are more expensive now, ive got the material one, more comfy than leather for long periods of time
