If yuou can do without the bundled games I'd suggest getting this asus 4890 it's a volt modded version that has higher clocks

When i first saw this product i thought it was a typo lol. Then people left reviews, but i still wasn't sure because it is 100mhz core higher than standard ones. That clears things up. Thanks haha.

Not a big difference, but definitely an improvement and when you're talking about it being the same price, do you need to question? :p
If the 950mhz was more expensive then fair enough, but being the same price why would you go for the XFX one?

I added another spec to my OP, lol i change my mind too much >.< i think spec 2 is better as im going to mainly be gaming but unsure just like to get your thoughts. Also i will only have a 17inch monitor for a month or 2 until i sell my old computer, but i have found a 24inch monitor i like:p so i will be playing games at 1980x1080.

+1 for spec 1

The 4890 should be more than enough for gaming and the i7 is much better tech - so it will futureproof you better than the DDR2 Phenom 2 setup (even with a 4870x2). Aslo, in a few months the prices of 4890s will have come down even further so you could add in a second if you feel you need the extra performance.

Just noticed that the HD4890 takes 2x 6pin pci-e power connectors yet the power supply i listed only has 1 x 6pin and 1 x 8pin:S Is there another PSU around that price that will run the setup good? Or is the 8pin actually a 6pin with a 2pin?

I thought i needed it to clean of the thermal paste already applied to the Titan Fenrir unless it doesnt come with any pre applied? Also im going for option 1 even tho it may not have a better GPU i can always add another later and the i7 is much better then the phenom 940 also i think the i7 setup will have a longer time before i need to upgrade.
