Hi

I've had enough of watching YouTube videos of footage from DayZ, Chilvary, BF3 etc and I've decided that I'd really like a nice gaming PC.

My sisters boyfriend has said he'd help me build one if I sourced the parts which is great as i was previously looking at a gaming package from the high street.

I have a budget of £700 which could at the very max rise to £950. If that extra £250 makes a big difference with the spec i could just about afford that increase. I'd love a fantastic gaming rig that could play the current releases smoothly. I particularly like Skyrim and DayZ

I have nothing, so if someone could help with a build I'd be very grateful. It would have to include software, monitor and well as the usual other bits.

Thanks for the help. I've been looking at other similar threads but I'd like some advice before shelling out.

I think something along these lines would suit you:

EDIT: Didn't see that post as i did mine. Id say definitely go for that B-grade HDD, good offer. The case probably has more features but is down to you as aesthetics are normally important for most. Up to you also how much you want to spend on peripherals. They can be the difference between an awful or comfortable experience so don't be afraid to spend a little.

Thanks for the quick advice. Without sounding too cheeky. Could I have a spec build for £700 as well. Would I see much difference between the two?

Thanks again!

I think you've got a winner there mate!

Made some small changes:

- Changed the HDD for a Grade B WD Caviar Black 1Tb
- RAM changed to Patriot Viper for CAS @ 9-9-9-24
- Grade B Monitor, £11 cheaper
- Samsung Writer changed, saving you £4

How would that do you? its all colour matched all blavk internals with a blue lighting.

60gb SSD + 1tb HDD +7950 twin forzer modular psu and all im a micro ATX form.

The reason I went for the 2500k is it saves £10 and as far as I'm aware there in minimal diffrence apart from the IGP and does not run as cool or overclock as well.

This is the case http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-029-AE I think it looks fantastic for the price!
