Gaming Spec check £1500-£2000

Hi,

Just about to buy the next part of my current project a new gaming rig. Would appreciate a bit of help and thoughts from others.

This is what I have in mind for my next purchase

Will be doing custom cable braiding using MDPC-X sleeving

Any thoughts on new purchases and if I should replace anything I am planning on re-using from what I have?

This build is asking itself for solid tubing. And a log !

The plan is rigid acrylic idd

I will be doing a build log as there is a bit I will be getting done to the case.

That is going to be one beast of a PC.

On a purely aesthetic note, I'm not entirely convinced by the white fans, pretty and quiet as those Enermax ones are. Some of BeQuiet's Silent Wings would look great in there. Obviously they are twice the price of the Enermax fans

I wanted to go for orange theme as well, but couldn't find fans that would satisfy me.
I went for blue and bought 5 Silverstone AP121s blue led edition, they look sweet.
Getting a motherboard with similar theme won't be a problem either and tbh there was to many orange builds lately. Everyone and their dog bought the z87x-oc and went for orange

I was planning to go for solid tubing as well, but I found a fantastic dark blue uv tubing and going to wc my build sometime next year.

Currently have a HAF-X with a blue water theme so that why I choose, Orange, white and black. Thanks for the idea much appreciated

There will be some colour changes to these and the case to help the suit my planned Orange, white and black theme. However those are some really nice fans also have 6 brand new gentle typhoons I never used from my last build sitting about so many to choose from just really love the enermax look

I don't understand - why buy a fancy cooled GPU only to swap it out for a watercooling block? Is it because you want them to be the same?

Because the original one I got was gonna stay on air for a bit and dont like things miss matched. But am now thinking of upgrading to the TI via step up program

The spec actually looks pretty good, Only thing i'd alter is the fans to match the motherboard and add some awesome orange cabling.

Going to do custom braided MDPC X orange and titanium grey cables, plans are to spray paint the fans orange and black might not look good then will probably go for something else? unless there are some other suggestions would like something with some leds in them just to help accentuate the case

You could get some Corsair SP120s and paint the rings orange. Then just buy some Bitfenix LED strips for lighting.

Will have to consider the SP120s they must be good since they in so many cases now days. Also seen a lot of them with painted rings
