Gaming Spec Check Please :) (not for me)

I see little point in getting an nForce 680i motherboard if he will not be running SLi. The P35 and X38 chipsets are much more efficient (especially at memory bandwidth), and overclock much MUCH further in general.

1. I aint to sure about the geil ram. Some praise it, others dont. If you need 1066, go with 2x1gb kit of corsair dominator.
2. 4 western digitals are fine(gonna put in my build aswell)
3. Quad,

go for retail, it's cheaper due to one week only offer and you could flog the hsf with it ;)

4. Monitors are not my speciality........sorry
5. No point going for a 680i board as,
They are expensive
unstable when using 4gb ram(what you would have been using)
If youre going SLI, i say no as the performance increase is minimal

6. Take this corsair 620w over that enermax,

7. Any particular reason youre going for a p182?
Not saying its a bad case, it's just ive seen a lot better for that price.

8. Do you really need a GTX for the tiny little fps itll give you over say a 8800gt/3870?
I mean you could save over £100 and just get a 8800gt

The retail Q6600 is on TWO = cheaper + free/extra HSF + longer warranty ;)

EDIT: Might not be important ATM but nForce 600 (& 700) series mobos do not support upcoming 1600MHz FSB CPUs like the Core 2 Extreme QX9770, etc

How about...

ahh, well the reason for that board is that Sli may be used at somepoint :) so he wanted to ensure that he is Sli ready,

He will run dual screen so.. thought the card would help keep performance up, as for the case he only took it for the space
