Edgey, with regard your spec, I read that that Sony literally only reads blu-rays and not dvds?Not sure if that's correct mind.

This is the Optical drive you will want if you want to Write to DVDs and CD as well as read Blu rays.

I'd replace the monitor with this, e-IPS makes image quality a lot better.

monitor looks ok - but i'd like HD play back so needs to be 1080.

this will also be running along side another 22" lg monitor.

You would be very very very unlucky if you got an i7 that couldn't hit 3.4.

I got my D0 stepping 920 (the one with the battlefield pack) running at 4.0 ghz within minutes on the asus p6t deluxe.

I'd think you would very easily hit your target.

I dont have exact setting as im in work at the moment but i'm under 1.3v and under 1.6 for the memory.

hmm i have a gtx 280 and it barely fit in my antec 900 - it was only just long enough. and had to remove the optional fan bracket from 1 of the drive bays so you might have trouble with the antec 300.

last spec i put up, uses a 900.

will that be ok?

yeah 900 is fine. The fan bracket is easily removable and not needed, it just comes off, you don't have to saw or break it off or anything! if you want to put a fan on the side window it might be an issue depending on the size of the fan but you'd only need that for sli really.
