Good afternoon everyone,

If anyone could spec me a gaming computer with perhaps Windows 7 if it works with GTA: IV & Crysis and games a like - without monitor and other peripherals.

Budget - maximum 1000 - 1250.

Cheers! :D

1366 is better but you pay a premium for that performance, which means you would have to spend less on things like graphics.

because 1156 uses an onchip PCI-E controller where as 1366 has to communicate through the NB which adds latency, its only marginal and not something to be concerned about, I shouldnt of really put it across like that initially, there were a lot of threads saying same thing and I was losing patience, lol.
1366 is better for dual gfx set ups though as it runs at full x16/x16 rather than 1156s x8/x8

NO its not, not for a single gfx card gaming set up, its actually worse

I didn't mean it in that way, but then again after reading i didn't make myself very clear.
I meant, if you bought 1366 you wouldn't as much money left over in a budget to buy graphics.

Sorry for confusion.

you dont want to drop 5870 to 5850 seen as how you state in first post its a gaming PC, think he was saying youd get more cpu power this way but for your needs you want gpu power

I9 is coming for socket 1366, not the 1156 socket. Another reason to go the I7 route for the future.
