Gaming Spec

Hi

I'm looking to replace my existing gaming PC with something a bit more modern.

I don't know much about hardware, so I was hoping someone could recommend me a good spec.

Budget wise, I'm looking at ~£1000. I've already got an OS and and a DVD drive from my current machine.

Deoends on res but id go with 7950 if gaming at higher res.

uhmm, not necessarily.. here is an bench test of 7850 vs gtx 670 @ DirectX 11

That has the 660. Did you mean the 670?
