Hello everyone,

So my request towards you is to give me a little bit of help on deciding what build to get. I want to be able and do some good gaming, and also live streaming, min requirements 16 GB Ram and the 1080 GPU, (if you think I that I shouldn't get the 1080 as it is overpriced etc I'd love to get some suggestions. I am also not looking forward to spend too much). I have all the peripherals required so is just the PC that I need to get.

Open for any sugestions
Many Thanks :D

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £564.58
(includes shipping: £11.70)

i7 is more comfortable with streaming games that use a lot of CPU. So if you can squeeze that in, great. If you can spend more for an overclockable i7-K, Z motherboard and better cooler, well that's even nicer albeit not essential. Hard to spec without a rough idea of budget.

The 1080 is not a good buy for anyone looking for performance-value for money. It's for those who want the fastest GPU currently available and don't mind paying for it. And in a few months or so, it will be beaten by the 1080Ti and new Titan. So don't go nuts unless you know what you're doing. Maybe the 1070 or an AMD Polaris offering would suit better.

What resolution and refresh rate is your monitor?

Do you need Windows?

Gaming Build

The monitor is not a proper gaming one, so that is not one of the things that really matters at the moment.
In terms of the cooling I'd like to know if water-cooling is a better option!!
And being honest for the price that you gave me I can 100% afford the 1080! is just an amazing offer you gave me.

Larger air cooler or liquid AIO only needed for overclockable CPUs which the i7-6700 is not. It comes with a stock cooler which "should" be fine but I've found with other "stock" i7's that they require just a little bit better, hence the Raijintek cooler.

Is there a better CPU I can go for?

Well to be honest I am not looking forward on spending more than £1200 as I think that it is not worth! I do not have the extreme time of gaming is all about the hobby!
