Hi all :)

I'm currently looking to upgrade my some what aging gaming machine, primarily to game at 2.5k res on my newish dell monitor. My current system is:

Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz (Sandybridge) Socket LGA1155 Processor - OEM
Crucial RealSSD M4 128GB
KFA2 GeForce GTX 670 EX OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit (F3-12800CL8D-8GBXM)
Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Silverstone Fortress 2

What kind of upgrades would I be looking for to support games like titanfall on a 2.5k res? I'm thinking if its a whole new PC I need I'd rather wait and upgrade to 4k at this point but I really need a bit of advice.

Nothing at all wrong with your CPU, motherboard, RAM etc. Is your CPU overclocked?

A new GPU or two is what you need - and a CPU cooler if your 2700k isn't overclocked.

What is your budget, and which PSU do you have (make, model, and wattage)?

I knew I'd forget some details :P

PSU and CPU cooler:

Corsair HX 850W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply
Corsair Hydro H80

The cpu isn't overclocked, which is something I actually overlooked.

Ideally I'd keep it under £1000 cost wise, but I'd realy like a smooth performance.
