Hey,

Despite only being in the hobby for a few years I've already got the itch to grab a gaming table. Some bespoke would be nice since I've not the time, skill or space for such a project.

These things are obviously expensive but something more affordable has shown up on Kickstarter recently and I was looking for some opinions?

Obviously it's pricey (it's a wooden table thus heavy!) but it's at the cheaper end of things if your willing to drop the bespoke aspect of it. Thoughts?

Looks decent tbh, although will it hit the goal? also the legs don't look that sturdy to me.

Having a table that doubles as a normal dining room table would be key for me personally.

Also lol at them saying 4 months warranty :S

Yeah the 4 months seems kinda short. Seems to be a few people backing at the £1 option to get updates who might pledge later. Tough one.

My biggest concern is the edge thickness which they can't change this late in the process but do have an answer for although I'm not sure it's that good. One to keep any eye on anyway.

Don't buy a custom gaming table. You can get plans and schematics in the DIY section of BoardGameGeek's forums, and if you can't make it yourself at a fraction of the cost you can supply the materials and pay a joiner for a couple of hours labour and get something as good for less.
