Gaming Upgrade

Looking to upgrade the the current range, so I can futureproof myself for another two or Three hears.

Currently have

I5 2500k
Z68ap-d3
Gigabyte 280x

Looking to mainly upgrade the board/CPU/Ram I think the card should still be good enough for most games, right!?

Budget I'd say £400/450 at the most?

Struggling a little bit yeah! Choppy now and again on a few gamesb

1080p. HDMi through to my 50" TV.

My 2500k is currently overclocked I believe.

Anything that needs a decent bit of power really.

If its the 970, which manufacturer?
If its the 390, which manufacturer?

Having a quick look, the Sapphire Nitro 390 seems to getting the best reviews.

Had the Sapphire Nitro in my basket last night at 269.99 and didnt bother, noticed this morning the price has dropped to £249.99

Updated the AMD Drivers this morning and tried Tomb Raider again, everything on full. was getting 16-21FPS on the 280x

I've ordered the Sapphire 390 from here!

Got it installed this morning. Same settings. Maxed out, getting roughly 25-45fps.

Like the fact the fans stay turned off up until a set temp too!

Is it worth me switching from Legacy to UEFI on the Card? Would it make a difference with my setup?
