Hi guys,

I have a q6600 gtx460 pc upstairs but wanted to game on a 2nd pc which is weak i.e. athlon X2 3800+ 7800gt. I play old games from like 5+ years ago as got weak pc.

They are connected on the same LAN via homeplugs.

Is this possible to game remotely via software? I.e. harness the power of my relatively more powerful pc but sit at a client pc.

Thanks.

Do I have to repurchase the games from steam to use their feature?

I already own the games that I bought used from the likes of cex and don't want to buy them again.

You should be able to stream anything, steam games, non-steam games that you have added to launch via steam, ones you haven't added, or even the entire desktop.

I find streaming very reliable, in fact I have my PC in a rack mount away from the living areas due to space so all I can use is steam streaming, splashtop or nvidia gamestream!
