Building new ITX system with hd6870 in it for occasional gaming use.
It will be connected to a 46" sammy tv via hdmi and I will be sitting opposite on the setee:D
I already have a microshaft usb adapter to use my 360 gamepad , but would like suggestions on a cheap (but good) wireless keyboard mouse setup that would be adequate for say BF3

Sorry can't be any help here but you just saved me asking the very same question, for the same reasons ...so I shall be watching closely.

Probably not the answer he (we) was hoping for...lol
I know wireless and gaming isn't the greatest combo. but I use a wireless keyboard at the moment with no problems whatsoever, as anyone who has come up against me on Black Ops will tell ya :p
However a wireless mouse was a slight concern for me....worn the T-shirt and all that.

I know :) But it amused me :p

Cheap doesn't really fit into the category, but I use a Logitech K750 all the time, and it's fine for gaming. As for Mice I'm using the R.A.T.7 but I'd presume the R.A.T.9 would be just as good - wireless alternative.

Otherwise you could look at something like the Razer Mamba - Wired and Wireless... Logitech G700 would be another one that is probably pretty good at what it does...

That's the thing really... Cheap and 'Goodwireless' really don't go together....

I like my Razer Mamba, can't fault it (other than on price) really. Previously had a Microsoft wireless desktop which was less good, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
I actually quite like the low-profile keys of the Apple keyboards - I got a Razer Lycosa on this basis but I don't think it's as good.

I knew "cheap" and "good" would be pushing it ;)
I also know wireless is not for the purists but suits the setup and occasional gaming I will be doing
